Canter Safari in Jim Corbett National Park

Canter/Open Bus safari in Corbett starts from the Dhikala Zone. The safari is indeed the best way to get through the core of the National Park and see wildlife (tigers and leopards mainly) from a close distance as it walks along the path of safari route. With the help of Canter/Open Bus safari in Corbett, the tourists can enjoy tour of National Park within same day. This safari tour is also considered economical than a jeep safari, provided if you are travelling alone.

Canter Safari is steered twice a day. Tourists can travel into Dhikala zone by a Canter with maximum of 18 passengers and starts off from Ramnagar in the morning and afternoon. These tours are called as Ramganga Conducted Tour and allowed by the management of Jim Corbett National Park. The tourists can board the canter either at Ramnagar or Dhangari gate.
